We are thrilled to work with you on our upcoming brand photoshoot! This guide details everything you need to prepare, groom, and look your absolute best for a seamless day on set.

👤 The Concept

You will act as a patient undergoing modern dental or clinical consultations (reception check-in, doctor consultation, waiting room scenes).

📷🎥 Photo & Silent Video

The shoot will feature both photography and silent video clips for our clients website and social media.

Chic, approachable, polished, and confident. Elevate your presence while remaining authentic and natural on camera.

Prep Timeline

Follow these quick steps to ensure smooth coordination prior to call time.

Two Days Before Shoot

Wardrobe approval & administrative prep

Urgent:

  • Text Outfit Photos: Snap and send photos of your planned top/outfit choices directly to coordinator for early approval. Text Cristina at 626-720-9826

  • Submit Release Form: Fill out and sign the online Model Release form link.

  • Confirm Zelle / Payment Info: Reply to your booking email with your designated Zelle email address or check details.

Morning of Shoot

Camera-ready grooming & wardrobe check

Arrival Ready:

  • Steam/Iron Outfits: Ensure selected clothes are clean and completely wrinkle-free before putting them on.

  • Arrive Camera Ready: Hair neatly styled & full face matte photoshoot makeup applied prior to arrival.

  • Pack Secondary Option & Props: Bring a secondary top/outfit option and a stylish handbag/purse (for women).

Wardrobe & Style Guide

Dress Code: Chic / Business Casual

Target look is polished, clean, and modern. Avoid jeans and loud prints to keep the primary visual focus on your face and smile.

Preferred Solid Color Palette

Choose solid tones that complement your skin tone. Strictly no graphics, logos, heavy patterns, or jeans.

Teals, Blues, Greens, Rich Brown, Maroon, Burgundy, Yellows, Pinks, Lilacs, Corals. See the palette.

Women: Chic & Classy-Casual

  • Tops: Well-fitting, solid color blouses or elevated tops that give you confidence.
    (No deep v-necks).

  • Shoes: Closed-toe heels/pumps, elegant penny loafers, or clean, high-end trendy sneakers.

  • Props & Accessories: Bring a stylish designer purse to use as a prop in waiting room shots. Accent with classy earrings or necklaces.

  • Backup: Always bring a secondary blouse choice on a hanger.

Men: Elevated Smart Casual

  • Look: Polished, smart business casual (tailored trousers/chinos, fitted button-downs, refined knit polos).

  • Fit & Finish: Clean, pressed clothing free of wrinkles. Crisp collars and fitted sleeves for shirts. Knit tops or polos also free of wrinkles.

  • Footwear: Leather dress shoes, clean loafers, or elevated minimalist leather sneakers.

  • Strict Rule: No casual denim/jeans or faded everyday wear.

  • Backup: Always bring a secondary shirt choice on a hanger.

For Women

Solid teal/blue blouse, tailored slacks, dainty jewelry & purse prop.

Hair & Makeup Standards

Studio photography lighting can wash out feature contrast and highlight skin shine. Please follow these specific grooming guides.

How to maintain an authentic, natural presence for silent video & lifestyle photography.

Avoid Looking At The Camera

Maintain eye contact with the actor/doctor you are interacting with, or focus on the consultation materials. Direct eye contact into the lens makes lifestyle footage unusable (unless prompted).

Warm & Relaxed Demeanor

Keep a friendly, welcoming, and relaxed presence. Think of how you feel when receiving great, reassuring care from a professional.

Posture & Deliberate Movement

Sit up straight with relaxed shoulders—avoid slouching. Move at 70% normal speed with slow, deliberate gestures so the camera can capture smooth frames.

Trust the Process (Re-takes)

If asked to repeat an action, simply repeat it seamlessly without looking up at the lens between takes. Directors adjust lighting and angles constantly!
